In my coaching experiences with Vasily, I found him to be extremely perceptive and a very attentive listener. He has that rare talent of being able to ask a question that not only made me think, but helped to reveal aspects of myself I had not thought about previously. Vasily is also very flexible and able to "go with the flow", which for me, was a critical element in the successful progress we made in my career search efforts.

I have often loved coffee shops for their relaxed ambiance, and so it seemed natural to meet with Vasily for the first time over coffee. And yet while our conversations were natural and enjoyable, we covered a surprising amount of subjects and issues that had been bothering me for months. When we first began these meetings I had already decided on a short-term plan and was eager to set career goals for the next few years. He quickly focused my attention on career possibilities that I would enjoy; and as the less appealing options were crossed off one by one, we tackled the next challenge of finding ways to accomplish these goals. Although we have only just begun this task, I have gained confidence and hope knowing that my dreams are within reach.

Perhaps what makes Vasily so helpful is his knowledge of technology and how to take full advantage of it. Manned with our MacBooks, we searched for job openings and housing opportunities, structured calendars around short-term goal setting, and researched the prerequisites for furthering my education. When I told him the good news of my recent engagement, he quickly offered to help me organize my planning process and to set weekly and monthly goals before the wedding date. As he explained, no subject is irrelevant when it comes to life coaching. I am grateful for these coffee shop meetings and look forward to our next chat, which will doubtless refocus and inspire me to continue to achieve my goals.

I have always been pretty well-aware of my passions and interests, so thought - for the longest time - that I didn't need any kind of coaching.  I eagerly got involved in organizations, took classes, and accepted part-time job offers, thinking that I was making my way toward a dream career.  However, as my schedule filled, my energy drained, and I realized that I was not getting any closer to my goal.
 
When I finally gave Life Coaching a try, the first thing Vasily/Metier Coaching asked me to do was describe my dream job.  When I did, Vasily did not laugh or tell me how far away I was from such a goal, but helped me begin taking practical steps toward paring down my schedule and honing my energies.  After three years of spinning my wheels, I was suddenly taking giant strides forward with a vision in mind. 
 
The most encouraging part of this process has been the thoughtful and thorough way that Vasily has formed his coaching talents to my personality and specific needs.  I have learned that my ideas and ambitions are valid, and that my dream-career is possible.  I have gained confidence in my personal skill and direction, and as a result, I crafted a job proposal that recently landed me an interview with the superintendent of a local public facility.  Thank you, Metier coaching for the direction and momentum that you have given me!
