Email:

If really secure e-mail communication with me is a concern for you, we can communicate via Hushmail; you can set up a free secure email account through their website and use that for communicating with me (let me know if you are interested in secure email and I will lead you through the process of setting it up).

Chat and Instant Messaging (IM):

If you would prefer communicating at times via chat/IM, my IM client supports AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), MSN Messenger, Jabber, Yahoo! Messenger, and Bonjour protocols. It supports OTR encryption for secure instant messaging. If you would like to communicate in this way, let me know and I will send you my information.

Telephone:

I plan on setting up an 800 number for Metier, but for now my only number is my phone number in area code 630. I'll post notice in my blog when an 800 number is available. The Metier number is: 630-983-0678

For inexpensive phone calls, I recommend the PennyTalk calling card which offers competitive rates (US$0.01 per minute within the United States, US$0.02 per minute throughout much of Europe). Free calls via VoIP are possible through Skype or Gizmo Project; let me know if you're interested in trying Skype or Gizmo for our sessions and I'll send you my connect information.

Video-Conferencing:

I use a MacBook with built in iSight video camera for video-conferencing (actually a form of chat using a webcam). If you have video-conferencing capabilities on your PC (i.e., webcam, software, and compatible PC) and a DSL, Cable, or T1 connection, communication with me via video-conferencing may be a viable option for communicating with me.

Your Environment:

Of course, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link ... and if your computer is accessed by others, they may be able to uncover details of your work with me unless you take steps to "lock down" that information.
